Fishing
The Aberdeen & District Angling Association (ADAA) have extensive river fishings on the Rivers Dee, Don, Ythan and Feugh. Between them, these waters offer superb game fishing for Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout. They also have stillwater fishing on the loch of Loriston and Millpond Fishery, both stocked with blue and rainbow trout. Please click on the link to make a booking.

Ardoe Nature Trail
This fascinating route through and around our Estate provides a chance to stretch your legs, whether it’s walking or jogging and take in all that nature can offer winding paths, plants, trees and animals
There are 3 Trails ranging from an easy 30 minute stroll on hard ground to a 60/90 minute wander on woodland and grassed areas all carefully marked out to match our route maps. Total distance on the longest route is 2.7km.
Available to families and groups of 4 upwards. Held once a month on a Saturday morning. Please ask the events team for specific dates.

Surfing & Paddle boarding
Being guided by a former Scottish Surf Rescue Team member with many years of surf instructing experience, you are in safe hands and can relax when getting the most from the waves. Enjoy taking part in either surfing at the stunning Aberdeen Beach or paddle boarding at one of Aberdeenshire’s most beautiful and picturesque rivers, the River Don. All kit and clothing are provided for both surfing and paddle boarding.
